Past National President


Derrick Cabrera Immediate Past National President, Derrick Cabrera, has served ADG as National President from 2004-2006. Preceding that he served two consecutive terms as Executive Vice President and terms as Student Representative and the National Philanthropic Director. Completing his candidacy in the Fall of 1995 at St. Louis University, Derrick began his influence on the local Chapter's leadership as the Recording Secretary, the first of 5 consecutive terms as an officer at Beta Chapter. Later offices included two terms as Vice President of Membership, and single terms as Executive Vice President from 1997-1998, and President of the Chapter from 1999-2000.

After having many other local position and after making changes to the Candidate Education Program and the Chapter’s Executive Board structure, Derrick’s strive for change followed him to National Office where he championed change with the National Government, placed new emphasis on insurance and individual responsibility, and where he continues to push for Culture Change and a remembrance of the Five S’s.

Derrick is a recipient of several awards and honors including the Beta Chapter’s Mr. Alpha Delt and Alum of the Year awards and National’s National President’s Award and The Mac Boland Award.

As a consecutive-term member of the National Executive Council, Derrick continues to dedicate his office to the betterment of the National Fraternity, both on the National scale and with the Chapters.
