Executive Council

     The National Executive Council is the elected body of the National Government. It consists of eight officers - five of who are voted in every other year at the National Convention, an annually elected Student Representative, a previously elected Past National President, and a President appointed Moderator.

In the mold of smaller organization governments, all officers (aside from the President, Executive Vice President, and Moderator) have a National Department that they control. The National Departments are populated with members of the National Board of Directors.

The National President presides over all aspects of the Fraternity. Just as the Vice Presidents, Student Representative and Past National President are directly responsible for the work of their department members, the Executive Vice President is directly responsible for the work of the Vice Presidents, Student Representative and Past National President. The Moderator is typically a man of the cloth and while he holds one vote on the Council, he serves mainly as an advisor to the Council and others.
