Social life and morale on our campus was pretty low in the fall of 2002 as most students simply slaved away at their work in the computer labs, design studios, or the library, not simply because of their educational conscience, but mostly because there was just nothing else to do. Many of us were in search of some type of meaning to college outside of our studies. Unless you were a part of a sports team, there were not many options for guys like us to join a club or organization. There was a social fraternity on campus, but they were not a group of people that any of us wanted to be associated with. A suggestion from a sorority member was all that it took to start the dynasty that is the Alpha Delta Gamma chapter at Philadelphia University. Text Box: Attention all Brothers! Do you like to eat real good BBQ and I’m talking the best BBQ in the Midwest and even the United States? Do you like going out to some of the best bars in Midwest? Well, Spring Conference is coming up on February 18th-20th. Zeta Chapter has Text Box: been given the privilege and honor of hosting this year’s gathering. We have made plans to treat you guys to some of the best BBQ and bars in the Midwest. Also we are planning to have a huge party on Campus with the entire Rockhurst University community invited to come. It should be one heck of a party. Also as an added bonus of coming to our chapter, you will have the chance to buy a one-of-kind ADG Flask at Conference (if you want one, send an e-mail to wettererj @rockhurst.edu asap).
