Things to Do

Spring Leadership Guest Speakers

Dan Faill
Keynote: How to Talk to a City Walled
Too often we throw away perfectly good conversations. Assuming we actually have convos to begin with. We're walking across campus in our own worlds, or when we are together we're not actually talking, we're just looking at our phones wondering when it's ok to leave. It's time to develop better conversation skills that will help in rush and life in general. Let's be brave enough to have the conversations that matter.
Beyond the Fine: Shifting Judicial Sanctions to Address Behavior
Still giving the same sanctions to the same members who break the same rules? What if there were a way you could structure your judicial board process to actually make a difference? This session dives into a human development theory in a fun and engaging way, while giving attendees concrete concepts to implement back on campus. This session is ideal for those in charge of judicial boards, or for those leaders who find themselves constantly having “the talk.”

Spring Leadership Conference Service Project
Providing immediate relief to those in need.
Bags And Grace is a 501(c)(3) charity created for the purpose of providing immediate, tangible relief to people living on the street. Our bags are filled with food, sundries and socks. Initially a one person attempt to make a difference, our goal is to broaden this charitable outreach given the unprecedented number of unhoused in both Los Angeles and our country, a number sure to expand during and after the Covid crisis.
